Freehit Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 28, 2026.
Freehit is a cricket fantasy app using virtual paper-money coins only. Freehit does not support cash deposits, withdrawals, betting odds, gambling, or real-money prizes.
Information We Collect
- Sign-in profile information from Google or Apple, such as your name, email address, user identifier, and profile photo when provided by the sign-in provider.
- Account records such as privacy consent state, support email, profile lock state, member-since date, and last sign-in date.
- Fantasy gameplay records such as selected teams, player IDs, captain and vice-captain choices, player points, contest entries, ranks, leaderboards, swap counts, and match status.
- Virtual wallet records such as Freehit Coin balance, contest entry deductions, payout credits, rewards, and wallet ledger entries.
- Friend records such as friend requests, accepted friendships, and friend-visible profile summaries.
- Notification records such as in-app notifications, notification read state, notification preferences, and device messaging tokens when notifications are enabled.
- Operational and diagnostic records from Firebase, Google Cloud, Apple, and Google sign-in SDKs, including authentication events, Cloud Function logs, crash reports, device identifiers, app reliability information, coarse provider/security signals, and abuse-prevention signals.
- Support information you choose to send us by email, including any account or troubleshooting details you include.
How We Use Information
- To create, secure, and maintain your Freehit account.
- To operate fantasy teams, contests, virtual coin balances, leaderboards, rewards, and post-match settlements.
- To calculate fantasy points from licensed cricket score data and show scoreboards, team lists, and match schedules.
- To send relevant notifications for toss updates, team updates, contests, friend requests, wallet activity, and settlement results.
- To let accepted friends view each other's limited Freehit profile summaries.
- To provide support, diagnose bugs, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
Cricket Data and AI Assistance
Freehit uses licensed cricket data providers, currently CricketData.org, for fixtures, squads, scorecards, scores, and match state. Freehit may use Google Gemini for optional team recommendation assistance. Gemini requests are designed to use match and roster information, not your email address or payment information.
Service Providers
Freehit uses Firebase, Google Cloud, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Crashlytics, Apple Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, Apple Push Notification service, CricketData.org, and Google Gemini where enabled. These providers process information only as needed to operate, secure, support, or improve Freehit. Freehit does not use this information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your information with advertisers. Contest leaderboards and accepted-friend profile views may show your display name, profile photo, selected fantasy team, rank, and points to other signed-in Freehit users who are allowed to view that surface.
Data Retention
Match-scoped gameplay records, including matches, contests, entries, leaderboards, teams, and match notifications, are retained for up to 30 days after settlement and then may be deleted. User profile, consent, wallet ledger, friendship, support, and safety records may be kept as needed for account integrity, support, auditability, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.
Your Choices
- You can disable notifications in iOS settings or inside Freehit where available.
- You can remove friends from the Friends section.
- You can request account deletion or data deletion by contacting support.
Children
Freehit is not intended for children under 13. Freehit uses virtual coins only and does not provide real-money wagering or cash prizes.
